Cross-Country Skiing
Right in front of Alpine Apartment Sapphire, the Hoferböden-Windau cross-country ski trail, suitable for beginners, leads over flat meadows for 1.9 km. Did you know? Cross-country skiing trains almost all muscles of your body in a joint-friendly way and simultaneously strengthens endurance and vitality! In the entire Ötztal, you can enjoy a total of 143 km of well-groomed cross-country skiing trails. Thanks to Sölden's altitude, the trails are usable until spring.

Sledding

What would a winter holiday be without a proper sledding adventure? The new Sölden - Gaislachkogl toboggan run takes you on a 7.3 km ride from the middle station of the Gaislachkoglbahn down to the valley in Sölden. Due to the easy route, the toboggan run, illuminated at night, is ideal for families with children.

Gliding gracefully over the frozen surface will make you feel like a child again! In less than a 10-minute walk, you can reach the artificial ice skating rink at the Sölden sports ground. Not only do all small and big ice skaters get their money's worth here, but ice hockey players and curlers also feel at home on the ice rink.
